{Inspiration} Farewell Party

We had so much fun with this party! Living in a place like Qatar there always seems to be people leaving so we thought we would share a few of pictures from this 'Berry Berry Sad' party as inspiration for any of you planning a farewell party. The children who thew the party were berry sad to say goodbye to all their friends. You could also use the berry theme for a summer inspired party too - a little more sunny than sad!

It is an easy theme because IKEA has the perfect table clothes and party ware for it! We designed an invite and water bottle labels to match along with the adorable popcorn boxes (see below) - traditional popcorn box on the outside but the bright berries on the inside.

We keep the food very simple serving hotdogs and chips for dinner along with snow cones for dessert and a few other treats including those stunning berry cookies by Pet from and beautiful strawberry cake pops from

We managed to come up with some creative games that suited kids of all ages. We had a cry off to see who could do the best fake crying - this was hilarious and most of the kids really got into it. We also had a berry hunt - a treasure hunt with cut out paper berries. Then last but not least a pinata because it is not a party without a pinata!

{Party Time} Cute Kitty Cat Party

This week we have guest blogger Jaime from dindindies sharing her recent blog post. We love all the cute kitty details! Pop on over to her Facebook page and say hi!

My daughter Gabriella's favourite soft toy is a little (mangy) cat that her Aunt won in an auction, so for her 2nd birthday this Cute Kitty Party was absolutely purr-fect! I really enjoyed designing all the cute kitty printables and decorations - I just love how the cat paper lanterns turned out.

A big thank you to my sister and the best aunt in the world for flying out for the weekend to help set up and celebrate with us!

{Baby Shower} Pink & Grey Baby Love

My sister is pregnant with her third child and I recently had the pleasure of organising and hosting a baby shower for her.

Jaime had always said that she didn't NEED anything for baby #3 but would love a child-free afternoon to chill and catch up with her great friends. With this in mind, I set about updating our Baby Love party printables to include some pink sparkle.

With the chill factor a high priority for her (mostly mummy) friends, I organised a pamper party. We were sent 2 lovely ladies who set about massaging, manicuring and pedicuring those that fancied the indulgence.

Our mum wasn't able to make the baby shower but chose this super cute cake design which matched the colour scheme perfectly!

I stumbled across these perfectly matched Hershey's Kisses in my local supermarket!

I loved how these popcorn boxes and cupcake wrappers turned out!

Customised water bottle labels are the easiest way to make a boring bottle look très chic! Aren't these spa mask take-home cookies just the cutest thing?!
